Capoferro Clients Weather the Storm

A severe storm in Toronto flooded parts of the city, knocked out power to thousands, and shut down roads and sections of the city’s subway system last week, as nearly 100 millimetres of water fell across the area in a matter of hours.  Rainfall totals measured 106 mm at the suburban Pearson International Airport after the storms blew through.

If history is any guide, the 95 millimetres or so of rain that hit the city of Toronto  like an exploding water balloon will wind up being a costly affair.

Hundreds if not thousands of residents in the country’s largest city have been left with flooded basements and waterlogged vehicles in the aftermath of the near-record rainfall...but not our clients!

We have received many phone calls and notes from our past clients who are so  thankful they weathered they storm and their home remained safe and dry .  So to all those clients, thank you for your messages for a job well done.

A message from our client Betty in Etobicoke....

Hi Frank,

How are you?  I haven't talked to you in a while. I hope things are going well for you and your family.  After the historic downpour on Monday, our house survived without any incident. The basement was dry as always and we found no issues anywhere.

We're lucky but also fortunate because you did such a good job building the house. Next door  had its basement flooded and had to replace the floor and about 2 feet of dry wall.

I just want to say thank you to you and grateful we're spared. I hope you're doing well and thanks again.
Betty

  1. That's good to hear. It seems ICF's paired with Frank's thought out detailing are a good combination.
